The multi-million dollar construction of the LinkedIn office was a complex project, with dozens of trades working around the clock to deliver the space for an early occupancy.
For this video, we’re telling the story of the space in a different way, giving you a behind the scenes look at the complete renovation of the 3rd floor of LinkedIn’s Chicago office, culminating in the delivery, welding, and installation of the stair structure connecting the 3rd and 4th floors of the nearly 80,000 square foot office and a time lapse look at the creation of a central mural reflecting the company’s focus on building meaningful connections.
In the second part of the video, we take you on a scooter-led tour of the new space, from the Chicago street-named conference rooms, the gym complete with Crossfit pullup bars, the conference room with illustrations of Chicago icons like Michael Jordan, the cafe and pub microkitchens, all among walls adorned by work from local artists. We take a look at the speakeasy room on the 4th floor as well as the main cafeteria on 3.
An office for the world’s leading professional social network delivers on its expectations: cutting edge technology mixed with vintage furniture and custom decorations sets the stage for the magic happening inside.
